I didn't even know who the was when I first drew her, but once I learned about Frau Perchta, it was clear this is her.
Frau Perchta is a Christmas witch who will frown mightily on you if you don't keep your house neat and tidy. And you had better have all your flax spun by Twelfth Night. Those with unspun flax and a messy house are likely to get disemboweled and have their entrails replaced with rocks and straw. So for those of you who need a little motivation to get your house spruced up for the holidays, Frau Perchta is your gal!
This is a hand-drawn original using colored pencils and watercolors, then decoupaged with decorative paper onto ¼ inch thick art board. There is a slot in the back to easily hang onto a hook or nail in a wall.
